Reduced data available for public download
Description of the data available in the public releases The HC-DC (previously SPHERE-DC) aims at providing a full reduction of all public SPHERE data. Given the huge amount of data, we spent several years developping a fully automatic pipeline that provide good reduction in most cases. It works well for typical SPHERE science cases (exoplanet/disc imaging, high contrast extended source) (...)
Data access
We provide access to reduced public data in two different ways, depending on the data level : at the SPHERE processing center in Grenoble for the first levels (data levels 0-2), and and through the DIVA+ data base in Marseille for the most advanced data products (SPHERE and other instruments). The first access is data-oriented (ESO archive-like) while the second access is more target-oriented (...)
Request for data processing
Procedure to request data reduction : We perform reduction on request based on the pipeline already implemented for the processing of public data. We accept requests from the PI or CoI of an observation (no reduction otherwise, except with the PI explicit agreement). Send an email to sphere-dc-req at univ-grenoble-alpes.fr, copy and fill the form below : SHC-DC data reduction request form (...)
How to acknowledge the Data Center
Acknowledgements in your publications if you use SPHERE reduced data : This work has made use of the High Contrast Data Centre, jointly operated by OSUG/IPAG (Grenoble), PYTHEAS/LAM/CeSAM (Marseille), OCA/Lagrange (Nice), Observatoire de Paris/LESIA (Paris), and Observatoire de Lyon/CRAL, and supported by a grant from Labex OSUG@2020 (Investissements d’avenir – ANR10 LABX56).
